This small nature reserve close to Earls Colne consists of a flower-rich former pasture, a marshy section, ponds, and a former brickfield teeming with meadow ants.

Visiting

Access via the public footpath that leads south from Park Lane in Earls Colne, 100m. from its junction with the A1124 Halstead–Colchester road, past the school.

Hourly buses Colchester–Halstead run to Earls Colne.

Accessible at all times.
